Jayke Milton

Co-Founder & Director of Education

I've spent the last 9 years in the OR doing spine, total joints, trauma, biologics, capital equipment, and instruments. That frontline work shaped how I think about training: reps don't rise to the occasion in a case, they fall to the level of their preparation. MedRep Academy exists because I've seen what happens when reps walk into a room without it.

As Director of Education, I lead curriculum development, build the surgeon-facing tools our reps use in the field, and make sure every module reflects how procedures actually run today, not how a textbook describes them.

What I bring to everything is a demand for excellence and a track record of backing it up. I come from an entrepreneurial background, which means I'm wired to think outside the box and build what doesn't exist yet. My core belief is simple: if a rep has intrinsic motivation, they can be taught anything. My job is to turn that motivation into clinical expertise, the kind surgeons trust and patients benefit from.

Travis Alston

Co-Founder & Director of Operations

Before I ever stepped into an OR, I was on a pitcher's mound. I played professional baseball, and that experience shaped how I compete to this day. Preparation, composure, and the understanding that the game is won long before the first pitch.

Twenty-six years in spine. Medtronic. Globus. DePuy Synthes. Independent distribution. I've competed at every level of this industry and I continue to win at every stop.

Not by cutting corners. Not by playing the game the way some competitors play it. By outworking them, out-preparing them, and outclassing them.

I have an unrelenting desire to win, and an even stronger conviction that how you win matters. This industry doesn't always reward integrity. I've made a career proving it still pays.

What I'm passionate about is the work and the people doing it. I pour into reps who bring the same drive, because that's where real careers get built.
